The most attractive hairstyles for short hair

Hairdressers will always tell you how just by getting the right haircut, or the right hairstyle, you can look younger, more confident, and attractive. A good hairstyle that covers your face cut will highlight your features and will increase your style points. Emo, tight or lose curls, shaggy or wavy, or even with a pixie cut, you can never go wrong with short hairstyles.

Whether for work, a casual lunch with friends, or a glam party, here are some ways you can style your short hair and create impressive looks.

Short Curls

Detangle your hair and then part it into small sections. Use your curling iron on dry hair (don’t apply curling iron on wet hair). Wait for your hair to cool down before you touch it. Then go ahead and set it up as you like.

Loose waves

Curl your hair using the iron in big sections, leaving out 2 inches from the bottom. Twist your hair to add a little volume. Remember the bigger the sections, the loser your waves will be.

Neat bun with braid

Curl the lower half of your hair after detangling and part your hair in three sections, a major part in the middle and two parts of the size you can braid easily. Wrap the center part into a bun and use a hair pin to place it perfectly in between. Using hair pins, place the two braids over the bun neatly again.

The Bouffant

Take a section of hair at the crown, roll it up and pin it up with some sectioning clips. Curl your hair with your curling iron and then unclip the hair at the crown of your head. Backcomb the hair you didn’t curl to add volume. Smoothen the bouffant and use a clip or a hair accessory (optional) for a neat look.

Half Up Party Lob

Curl your hair and then tease down the hair at the crown of your head to give it a bouffant look. Pick sections of your hair from the sides, twist them once at the back of your head, and pin it at the back of your head.

Cat Ear Knots

This is the trendiest short hairstyle that looks chic and sweet. Simply part your hair down the middle. Hold your hair up from one side, roll it to form a bun, and tie it with a elastic band and some hairpins. Repeat the same on the other side.

Short hair is low maintenance, eye-catching, and can look all sorts of sassy, chic, and sweet, and you can do so much with simple accessories like barrettes, ribbons, bandanas, hippy scarfs, and hair pins.
