Hair Care Tips for dead-looking flat and greasy Hair

Dealing with oily hair is one of the most common and frustrating problems one can face in their daily life. If you have oily hair, or hair gets greasy the next day you shampoo, you are not alone on the boat. It is also no rocket science to keep your oil levels under control. Although oil in your roots can make your hair look flat and greasy, there are many ways you can keep your hair looking glossy and bouncy.

Avoid washing hair too often

If you have hair that starts to look too greasy quickly, you are probably overwashing your hair. Washing your hair too often can cause your scalp to produce more sebum as soon as it has been washed.

Don’t apply anything to your roots

Your roots produce natural moisturisers and applying any product to them will block the passage of natural moisturisers. Avoid using products on your roots as this will only increase greasiness in your hair.

Keep your brush clean

A clean brush belongs to clean hair. The dirt in your brush can get stuck and clog your pores, causing your hair to look greasy, and therefore, flat.

Avoid touching your hair too often

Brushing, touching, and playing with your hair constantly can stimulate oil glands and produce more oil on your scalp than usual. Additionally, the oil from your plant or fingers can get transferred to your hair. Resist the urge to touch or play with your hair to avoid having flat or greasy hair.

Only apply conditioner on the ends

Conditioners make your hair amazingly soft and detangle faster. But using conditioners on your roots will make your hair greasy so much faster. If you have hair that gets tangled quickly, try using a wet brush or a wide-toothed comb to tame your hair.

Have you tried this amazing wide-toothed comb by Roils that reduces hair pulling and damaged hair strands? It also increases blood circulation which promotes faster hair growth.
